New Home for Out of Hours Service
The GP out-of-hours service provided by Derbyshire Health United (DHU) is located at the purpose-built Ashgate Manor Medical Centre on Ashgate Road offering GP services to patients whose surgery is closed.
The out-of-hours service at Ashgate Manor are open from:
18:30 – 08:00 Monday to Friday
18:00 Friday to 08:00 Monday
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Patients will be able to book appointments and order and collect prescriptions during these hours.

We are closed on the following Wednesday afternoons:
We have additional doctor’s appointments as follows:
Wednesday mornings 07:00 – 08:00
One Saturday each month 09:00 – 11:00
Every alternate Tuesday with Dr R Taylor until 20:00
These appointments are usually pre-bookable up to 6 weeks in advance. Please note that reception is only open to deal with these pre-booked appointments at these times; not to book new appointments or to hand out prescriptions or other items.

The practice nurses operate an appointment system from Monday to Friday. Their first appointment each day is at 08:05, their last appointment is at 17:40.
The Phlebotomist is doing an early surgery Wednesday mornings starting from 07:00.
