From Tuesday 17th February all prescriptions will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
If you do not have a nominated pharmacy we will nominate Peak Pharmacy at Whittington Moor for you.
How Do I Order My Prescription?
All repeat prescriptions need to be requested through the medicine order line or through online services.
When will my prescription be ready to collect?
You no longer need to collect a prescription from the surgery as they go electronically to your elected pharmacy.
If you have not already signed up for online services you will need to register for this - please ask a receptionist regarding this and they will be able to issue you with a password. This applies to children also. Once registered you can order via the link at the top of this page.
Can I Telephone?
The medicine order line number: 01246 588 860
Patients are able to visit your local chemist and nominate them to receive your prescription electronically instead of physically. This system still required you to give us 2 working days (48hrs) notice to process your prescription request before going to your nominated chemist for collection.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appointment for a review so that there are no delays with your medication.
What if I’m Going on Holiday and Need to Order my Prescription Earlier?
No problem. As long as you let us know in time – please don’t leave it to the last minute!
Problem with your Prescription?
If you have a problem with a prescription that has been collected, please telephone 01246 456938 between 08:30 and 17:30.
