Named GP for all patients

Whittington Moor Surgery has allocated every patient a GP who will be responsible for their overall care.  This is purely an administrative exercise.  You will see your named GP listed on prescriptions and if you have authorised text messages to be sent to you from the surgery you will have been advised who your named GP is via this method. 

There is no need to telephone the practice for this information.

If you would like to change your named GP, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.

Please note:

• This exercise does not prevent you from seeing the GP or Practice Nurse of your choice as your currently do
• Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor
• You will still receive the same level of care
• You do not need to do anything yourself, nothing will change for you.
