Travel advice is covered by the NHS; however some vaccinations and prescriptions are only available privately. 

If you are travelling outside the UK, you may require vaccinations to protect against diseases that are not included in the routine NHS vaccination schedule. 

NHS Travel Vaccinations Available at the Surgery
The following travel vaccinations are available free of charge on the NHS at the surgery, where clinically appropriate: 
Tetanus, Polio, Diptheria, Typhiod, Hepatitis A.

Private Travel Vaccinations & Malaria Tablets 
Please note that this surgery does not provide private travel vaccinations or malaria tablets. You will need to seek the help of local travel pharmacies. 
Vaccines commonly provided through private travel clinics include: 
Hepatitis B, Japanese Encephalitis, Meningitis Vaccines, Yellow fever, Rabies.

Please be aware that this list is not exhaustive and vaccine requirements many vary depending on your destination and medical history.

Whittington Moor Surgery will not prescribe medication such as diazepam for fear of flying or to help to sleep during a flight.
